Abstract


This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of class IV students at UPTD SDN 36 Hutagodang, especially in the material Al Hujurat Verse 13. This research aims to see and analyze the increase in learning outcomes after corrective action was taken in the learning model. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) in two cycles. Learning improvement actions are carried out using the problem based learning (PBL) model, namely problem-based learning. The formulation of the problem in this research is how to improve student learning outcomes on Al Hujurat Verse 13 material through the application of the problem based learning model at UPTD SDN 36 Hutagodang. The research findings obtained were: In the pre-cycle, student activity and teacher performance had not reached the expected targets. Student learning outcomes in the knowledge aspect have not reached the expected target, namely 58.8%. In cycle I, learning outcomes increased, to 76.5%. In cycle II, student learning outcomes in the knowledge aspect also increased significantly, with an average score of 86 and 88% of students completed. The conclusion of this research is that the use of the PBL model can improve PAI learning outcomes for class IV students on Al Hujurat Verse 13 material at UPTD SDN 36 Hutagodang in the odd semester.
