Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Peserta Didik Melalui Metode Tutor Sebaya pada Materi PAI tentang Indahnya Saling Menghargai Kelas V SD Negeri 102061 Bangun Bandar

Abstract


This study aims to improve the learning achievement of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 102061 Bangun Bandar, particularly in the subject of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) that discusses the values of mutual respect. The low learning achievement of students has become a major challenge in the learning process, especially in understanding and applying religious values in daily life. One proposed solution is the implementation of the peer tutoring method, which involves more capable students helping their classmates in understanding the lesson material. This method is expected to accelerate students’ understanding of the importance of mutual respect and enhance their social and communication skills. This study focuses on the impact of the peer tutoring method on students' understanding of mutual respect values and their learning achievement in IRE material. It is hoped that the results of this study will contribute to the development of more innovative and meaningful teaching methods for students, while also strengthening their social character through more collaborative learning.
