Penerapan Metode Diskusi dalam Meningkatkan Keaktifan Siswa pada Materi “Indahnya Saling Menghargai Keragaman”

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning activity of fourth-grade students at SDN 17 Langga Payung through the application of the discussion method on the material "The Beauty of Appreciating Diversity" in Islamic Education lessons. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with two cycles. The results of the study show that the application of the discussion method can increase student activity in learning. However, there are still several obstacles such as lack of student motivation, lack of cooperation between students, and ineffective time management. Therefore, teachers need to develop more interactive and creative discussion methods and pay attention to the dynamics of each student to improve student learning activity.
